Francia Guzman is an experienced global human resources executive with an outstanding track record of developing and implementing strategic HR solutions that result in positive bottom line results. Her corporate roles have included line management, human resources leader/business partner, and center of expertise roles in staffing, talent management, leadership development, and training. She has demonstrated capabilities in creating strategy and managing all aspects of human resources, from selection -- including mobility, to performance improvement and employee relations to recognition and rewards.
Most recently, Francia served as Global Head of Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion at Visa, moving to this role after her previous assignments with the company as Regional Head of Human Resources for Latin America & Caribbean and Global Talent Management Head. Prior to joining Visa, she held a range of HR roles with Citigroup, including Staffing and Development Director for Latin America, Senior Generalist – Latin American Corporate and Investment Bank, and Country Human Resources Vice President for the Dominican Republic.
A writer, speaker, and member of multiple boards and organizations, Francia was recognized in 2011 as Distinguished Woman by the National Diversity Council and was also featured in Diversity Woman Magazine that same year. She is the author of Latino Culture: A Dynamic Force in the American Workplace, co-authored with Nilda Chong (Intercultural Press, 2005) and of “Coaching Across Cultures,” an article published by the WorldWide Association of Business Coaches. Currently, she serves on the Board for the Masters in HR Program at Florida International University.
Francia holds a B.S. in Sociology from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena, undertook graduate studies in Urban and Regional Development at El Colegio de Mexico, and holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Miami. She is also a certified as a Business Coach by the WorldWide Association of Business Coaches and in Assessment Interviewing by Spherion. She speaks four languages.

As a seasoned Talent Acquisition Senior Leader, Garner prides herself in team empowerment, process innovation and service excellence. Garner’s career has provided her a depth and breadth of experience that drives her to a keen understanding of business needs and ability to align the processes and execution of her team to meet those needs. Garner has gained valuable exposure to multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Randstad Holding, ADP and McKesson. She has served in various capacities in the Talent Acquisition and broader HR sector, including various Talent Acquisition leadership and HR Business Partner roles. Most notably, Garner served in the Transformation Management Office where she led the transformation of the Global Talent Acquisition team and continued on to lead the Communications and Change Management function for all Global HR transformation projects. Currently, Garner oversees all Talent Acquisition enterprise program functions for McKesson, including RPO Vendor management, Inclusive Hiring, Recruitment Marketing and Early Talent Programs. Garner is passionate about driving excellence and creating positive experiences for her clients. In her personal time, Garner is a proud mom to a teenage girl, loves to ride horse, run and sing and seeks opportunities to give to others through her church and a local women’s empowerment organization.
