Waheeda Rahman is the Director of Organizational Development & Diversity at the Scarborough and Rouge Hospital. Her role leads and supports organizational effectiveness, transformational change, staff engagement and the hospital’s diversity and inclusion strategy.
She is nationally recognized and award winning for her leadership which has led the hospital to receive a number of awards in the areas of diversity and inclusion, coaching and mentoring along with an innovative just-in-time performance review process.
Waheeda has over 15 years of management expertise in both private and public sectors, including manufacturing, financial services and government. She has served on a number of boards, including the Board of Governors at Centennial College and was recently appointed to the board at Toronto Regional Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC).
She is a sought after guest speaker, leadership coach and mentor. Waheeda holds a Masters from Ryerson University, a Masters Certificate in Organization Development through Schulich School of Business and a graduate of Rotman School of Management Leadership Development program.

With over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Lisa has witnessed the evolution of recruitment from the rolodex of business cards to the utilization of technology and social networking. With a Bachelors degree from York University, she walked into a Toronto based recruitment agency in search of a “job”. Little did she know that her attempt at finding a “job” marked the beginning of her career. She became so intrigued by her recruiter that she inquired about making her a member of their team. In a matter of days, Lisa was hired and the rest is history!
Her strategic human resources and talent acquisition experience ranges across a variety of industries including financial services, retail and marketing. Lisa’s career has been dedicated to building talent growth strategies inclusive of the planning, design and implementation of centralized talent acquisition teams. From Edward Jones where she was responsible for attracting and selecting financial advisors across Canada; to Walmart where she led the human resource and talent teams through high growth planning and transformation, to Target where she was one of the first hires on the leadership team tasked with designing the talent acquisition framework to support their international expansion into Canada; to Match Marketing Group where she developed their national people strategy.
She is a leader who pushes the boundaries of traditional Talent Acquisition while engaging and inspiring large national teams to love what they do, understand why they are doing it and how to get it done!

Greg joined Medavie in 2014 and holds dual responsibilities within the Medavie family. He is responsible for Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Communications, and Corporate Marketing for both Medavie Health Services and Medavie Blue Cross.
With over 25 years of extensive experience as a leader in human resources, he led major strategic initiatives within numerous large and complex organizations throughout Canada including Towers Watson and Irving Oil. He has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to successfully build team capabilities and guide changes that create competitive advantages and drive results
Noel Correia is currently the Canada Talent Acquisition Leader for Cognizant Technology a global Fortune 200 company. Noel has worked globally and has built Talent Acquisition teams across Asia, Europe, US and Canada. An evangelist for “Candidate Experience and Engagement” he has been successful in his various Talent Acquisition and Management engagements taking organizations to a level that is comparable with some of the best companies around the globe. When he is not mentoring, coaching and looking for talent, he spends his time with his wife and 3 adult kids. He and his family are foodies and are constantly looking for new recipes from the multi cultured landscape in TO. The family has been told that they should open a Fusion restaurant, maybe that will come in the future!!!
Kristen MacLellan | Director, Talent | Best Buy Canada
As head of talent for Best Buy Canada, Kristen supports all divisions within the Canadian business with a portfolio that includes, recruitment, talent attraction programs, performance management, career development and succession planning.
Since joining the HR leadership team at Best Buy Canada in 2016, Kristen has been a champion of best-in-class recruiting and talent solutions within the organization and has led major initiatives such as a redefined employer brand, updated Career Centre, a first ever internship program, integration of a 3rd party talent assessment and most recently the design and implementation of Workday Recruiting & Talent.
Kristen’s recruiting career has spanned more than 15 years, having worked within a cross section of industries that include retail, financial services, healthcare and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Her portfolio also includes Starbucks Coffee Company where she was the sr. program manager (talent acquisition) for Retail North America and the national talent acquisition manager supporting their Canadian business. Always the talent enthusiast, Kristen is also known for developing strong recruiters, building high performing teams and measuring the value and impact of the recruiting function. She has spoken a number of times on the topic of talent attraction including Talent Acquisition Institute in 2018, Indeed Explore 2017, RCC HR Conference in 2017 & 2015 as well as the Global Employer Brand Summit in 2014.
