Mike Power
US Talent Acquisition Leader
GE HEALTHCARE

Mike is an HR Leader with over 15 years experience and a track record of success at F500 financial, professional services, healthcare, and retail organizations.  He is a strategic, hands-on and results-driven business partner with international experience.  Mike has proven success in building and executing Talent Management and Talent Acquisition strategies and processes for large complex organizations and has successfully led Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Management for some of the world's best known brands.

Mike has HR leadership responsibility for corporate and field businesses for all aspects of HR and his specialties include:

  • Leading change initiatives aimed at human capital transformation that accelerates business strategy and execution
  • Aligning and executing talent management processes and strategies that improve employee productivity, and align talent and work to positively increase business results

  • Building and optimizing full life cycle recruiting processes and strategies that maximize recruiter productivity, hiring results, and employer brand marketing

Mike is currently the US Talent Acquisition Leader at GE Healthcare and prior to that was the Human Capital Practice Leader at Kompass Performance Partners, a Director for US Human Resources Service Delivery at ManPower, a Senior Manager for Global HR Operations & Planning at Discover Financial Services (Discover Card) and an IT Staffing & HR Manager for McDonald's Corporation.

Mike holds a BS in Economics from Northern Illinois University and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business for Executive Education, Strategic Leadership.
