Jason Ortmeier

Jason Ortmeier is passionate about helping leaders grow. His intuitive nature and insightfulness help him to understand his clients and offer high impact advice, leading to the achievement of aggressive results.

Jason joined MDA’s leadership development practice in 2005, with a focus on leadership assessment and executive coaching. Prior to that, he was with a global consulting firm specializing in organizational change and leadership transitions. In that role he built a strong business foundation, learning how organizations work and what makes leaders successful.

Jason is adept at facilitating and leading high impact group sessions as well as coaching one-on-one, and has worked with hundreds of executives, including leaders from more than 20 Fortune 100 companies. While he has significant experience working with large corporations, he also has passion for helping smaller, growth oriented organizations reach their goals by enhancing the impact and effectiveness of leadership.

Jason has an extensive background in counseling, education, and training, spending his early career in the non- profit mental health arena as a program manager, therapist, and consultant. He graduated with high honors from the University of St. Thomas with a Masters Degree in Counseling and Professional Psychology and has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota.
