Éric D’Amours is a Global Client Relationship Director and the National Growth Leader for Willis Towers Watson in Canada. He is part of the Canadian leadership team of Willis Towers Watson and is based in Toronto. He has more than 27 years of experience. He started his career in Montreal and moved to Toronto in 2000. He received a degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval in 1989 and became Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 1991.
As a global client relationship director, Éric has helped many organizations by providing strategic advice in improving their organization effectiveness and support in the establishment of their HR policies and total rewards programs around the world. He has also assisted many employers in managing the financial aspects of their employee programs and improving the productivity of their workforce.
Previously, Éric was the M&A Practice Leader for more than a decade. In that role, he was involved in more than 100 transactions and corporate reorganizations. Many companies have relied on Éric’s expertise for domestic and global M&A and reorganization activities including due diligence review, cost reduction, program harmonization and communication with employees, unions and work councils. Éric has also been a frequent speaker on merger integration and business restructuring topics
