David Quirke is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick Maryland. David has over twenty years experience in Healthcare IT throughout Europe and for the last 12 years here in the US.David holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics from University College, Dublin. Ireland. David has extensive experience in IT Operations Management, IT Outsourcing and Software development, all in the Healthcare arena.
David’s leadership and collaborative style has positioned Frederick Memorial Hospital to receive recognition as a HIMSS Stage 6 Hospital.
David serves on the Board of the Maryland Chapter of HIMSS and also serves on several advisory panels for the Maryland Health Care Commission and CRISP (the newly formed Maryland statewide Health Information Exchange).
