Sergio Corbo is the Chief Marketing Officer of GE Energy Management Industrial Solutions in Plainville, Conn. Sergio focuses on areas ranging from Electrical Distribution, to Power Electronics and Cleantech (Energy Efficiency, Smart Grid, Renewable Energy).
Industrial Solutions provides a broad array of electrification products and services for light and heavy industries, across a global network of commercial, industrial and residential applications. With over $3Bn of annual revenue, and 13,500 employees in more than 60 countries across the globe, Industrial Solutions is leading the future of electrification by recognizing today’s challenges and helping to solve them.
Sergio is a panel member of the Industrial Energy Efficiency Coalition (IEEC). IEEC’s unique alliance of industrial controls and automation suppliers advocate for new federal policies that encourage manufacturers to implement energy efficiency strategies to boost productivity and sustainability.
Prior to joining GE, Sergio worked at Schneider Electric in various Vice President roles, covering Marketing, Business Development (M&A) and Strategy. The positions ranged from Corporate to Business level senior staff, including launching Schneider’s Renewable Business and leading global teams focused on product management, segment marketing, pricing, marcom, strategy, mergers and acquisitions. Sergio also served on the board of directors of the Solar Energy Industry Association and dedicated time to shape Energy Efficiency policies.]
Before Schneider, Sergio worked as Director of Global Business Development and in various other positions in sales and marketing management at Magnetek and Ferrari Formula One racing.
Sergio continued to enjoy the contact with Academia as an Adjunct Professor of Management in The Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business, at Belmont University, focused on the teaching of Strategic Management and International Business, with emphasis in the disciplines of Corporate Strategy, Applied Financial Analysis and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A).
Sergio holds a Doctor Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Universita' di Firenze in Italy and Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK and an MBA from Vanderbilt University
Jessica Nielsen is vice president of Communications for Lockheed Martin’s $8.8 billion Information Systems and Global Solutions business. In this capacity, Nielsen leads the branding, messaging and stakeholder engagement for a business which employs 28,000 employees across all 50 states and 20 countries. She joined the company in May 2013.
Before joining Lockheed Martin, Nielsen was Executive Director, Global Communications and Influencer Relations for Dell’s $8 billion IT Services business, where she built a new communications team focused on analyst relations, community affairs, media relations, social media, executive communications and employee engagement.
Nielsen has spent more than 15 years working in communications positions of increasing responsibility for multiple companies in aerospace and defense, IT services, manufacturing and consumer goods. Throughout her career she has worked around the globe including assignments in Europe, the Middle East and India.
She has taught at Georgetown University, holds a bachelor’s degree in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University.

Eileen Cassidy Rivera is an accomplished strategic communications and marketing professional with more than 25 years experience in business, technology, government, education, non-profits, media, and politics. In 2010, PR News named Eileen a finalist for Corporate PR Executive of the Year and was the only communications professional in the government services industry named in this award category.
At present, Eileen is Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications at Harris Healthcare Solutions (www.healthcare.harris.com), a division of Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) where she leads the company’s strategic growth and positioning in the commercial healthcare market.
In early 2013, she founded her own firm, Cassidy Rivera Communications (www.cassidyrivera.com) where she advised government contracting companies on new trends in branding, digital marketing and strategic communications.
From 2005-11, Eileen was Vice President of Communications and Investor Relations at Vangent, a leading provider of information management and strategic business process solutions, which was sold to General Dynamics (GDIT) in 2011 for $960M. During her tenure, Eileen led digital marketing, branding, public relations and advertising as well as internal communications programs reaching more than 7,000 employees in the U.S., Europe, Canada and Latin America. She played a key role in three acquisitions by leading messaging strategy, employee and external communications. In 2011, Vangent was named Government Contractor of the Year, a coveted industry award which Eileen helped the company win prior to its sale to GDIT.
Prior to her leadership roles at Vangent, Eileen served as Director of Public Relations at EDS Federal (now HP Enterprise Services) from 2001-05 where she led the company’s public affairs and strategic communications programs in the federal government market.
Eileen has experience at every level of government. From 1993-2001, she served in the Administration of President Bill Clinton where she led international trade and export promotion programs at the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration. During the final year of the Clinton Administration, she was Director of Press and Public Affairs as well as spokesperson for the Peace Corps. In 2002, she was named by former Virginia Governor (now U.S. Senator) Mark Warner to serve on the Virginia Business Education Partnership. In 2006, Eileen was elected to the School Board of Alexandria City (VA) Public Schools and served until 2009. At the end of her term, Eileen was named Education Advocate of the Year by Tenants and Workers United.
Eileen is a two-time graduate of American University where she earned a MBA from the Kogod School of Business and a BA from the School of International Studies. She received an Executive Education Certificate from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Eileen studied at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City during her junior-year abroad.
Eileen serves as Co-Chair of the WashingtonExec MARCOM Group which is a consortium of marketing and communications leaders at government contracting and software companies. She writes for several industry publications and regularly contributes provocative articles on branding, communications, and marketing.
Active in her community, Eileen is President of First Night Alexandria (www.firstnightalexandria.org) and serves on the Advisory Board of the Ron Brown Scholar Program (www.ronbrown.org). She is bilingual in Spanish and has traveled to more than 25 countries around the world. She lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, Andrew, and their three fabulous children.
Bill is a product and marketing executive with experience marketing products and delivering marketing products. At ChoiceStream, he leads the marketing and in-house creative teams. Bill started his marketing career managing data mining products at Oracle. He followed the progression of addressable advertising by managing direct mail products at Amdocs, mobile advertising products at Aol/Advertising.com, and the mobile exchange at Nexage. Bill joined ChoiceStream to realize the dream of optimized one-to-one advertising through the combination of picking who to target and picking what to show them.
Bill has a BA in Mathematics and Fine Art from The Colorado College and a CAS in Software Engineering from Harvard. He enjoys skiing, and once worked as a Vail Ski Instructor.
Bennet Bayer is serves as the Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and VP Strategy for Carrier Cloud, Infrastructure and Managed Services Groups. He is recognized as “one the 250 most influential cloud executives in the world” by MSP Mentor, and provides nearly 30-years of domain expertise in mobile, telecom, cloud big data and related software technology. His record of achievement includes executive, marketing and operational leadership roles, much of which has been with global responsibility. Mr. Bayer provides strategic direction to Huawei teams and to over 100 major service providers around the world. His contributions include business strategy, revenue enhancement along with technical outsourcing projects. This includes consumer value-added solutions (VAS), business process outsourcing (BPO) and large-scale cloud solutions serving 45 of the 50 largest carriers/operators and one-third of the world’s population.
Prior to joining Huawei, Mr. Bayer built and led the mobility, unified communications and collaboration software practices at Avnet providing solutions to the VAR community across platforms provided by IBM, Oracle, HP, Microsoft and Cisco.
Prior to this time he served as CEO at AaronTel (SIL/BRAC) a Greenfield mobile operator in Bangladesh; Founder of a MVNO start-up (RoamAbout Mobile) providing cloud-based global roaming solutions; CEO of Afghan Wireless, the national GSM operator in Afghanistan; VP/GM of Mobile Business at UNISYS, proving mobile solutions to global operators; Managing Director, Global Multimedia Services at BT/Infonet, running a 19-million user global business; and Director, Advanced Products Division at Casio and VP Sales and Marketing where he developed and brought to market 27 unique products.
During his various tenures Mr. Bayer has conceived and launched to market several hundred new products, services and applications generating over $7-billion in new revenue. He has driven four global $0-$350m business successes and numerous smaller ones and provides domain expertise across mobile, telecom, cloud services and related software applications. During his career, Mr. Bayer has developed four custom large-scale B/OSS and integrated Frameworx/eTom with over 100 carriers and operators around the world.
Aleya has nearly 20 years in senior marketing, sales, business development and international management roles. She joined Scribble in April 2013 as CMO and is responsible for brand development & management, international development, events, PR and communications. Prior to joining Scribble, Aleya was with Brookfield Asset Management’s residential real estate portfolio for almost 10 years. Most recently she was Chief Marketing Officer of Brookfield’s U.S. Franchise business. Since 2009, Aleya had been posted overseas leading international development opportunities including roles based in India, the UK and the USA. From 1996 to 2001, Aleya was with Chapters Inc. (Canada’s largest book retailer), and was responsible for marketing, advertising, loyalty programs, events, communications and public relations. During her tenure at Chapters, the business grew from $400 million to almost $1 billion and launched and took public both Chapters large-format bookstores and Chapters Online

Prior to joining eXelate, Frannie spent three years as the Director, Marketplace Development for Bizo, until its acquisition by LinkedIn. Frannie helped build Bizo's Data Solutions practice, and lead Bizo's spike in awareness and resulting revenue with her data-driven, integrated marketing approach for brand clients.
Before joining Bizo, Frannie spent 14+ years at gyro, where she led its global media strategy practice and grew media revenue 250%+. Previously, she founded ProMedia and began her career at Wyse Advertising.
Frannie's professional passion correlates to her personal life as well, where she is a Group Fitness Instructor and Boxing Trainer. Her favorite food is popcorn sprinkled with dark chocolate chips, and if you cannot find her at her desk, be sure to check the gym!
