Kevin Wilde is responsible for world-wide people growth at General Mills, including talent management, executive development and the Leadership Institute. Richard N. Knowles graduated from McDonogh School, McDonogh MD in 1953, from Oberlin College on Oberlin, OH in 1957 and received a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY in 1961. He then joined the DuPont Company in research at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware where he conducted research in a variety of areas receiving 40 U.S. Patents in this work. He then worked in a number of sales and manufacturing assignments including 15 years as Plant Manager in three different sites. He has extensive experience in community dialogue and emergency response at both the local and state levels. He was active with the American Chemistry Council and he is an Adjunct Instructor at Medaille College in Amherst, NY and a member of the Academy of Senior Professionals at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. Since his retirement from DuPont in 1996 he has helped many organizations in his consulting work.
