Dave has over twenty years of industry experience encompassing retail banking, full service brokerage and discretionary investment counselling.
His experience includes over 15 years of executive experience at two of Canada’s five major banks leading investment and advice based businesses focused on meeting the needs of mass affluent and high net worth clients as well as corporate and not-for-profit clients.
Dave joined TD Waterhouse in 2007 as Regional Vice-President and Market Leader for Private Client Group and led TD Waterhouse Private Investment Counsel business from 2008 - 2011.
In his current role as Senior Vice-President, Private Wealth Management TD Wealth, Dave is responsible for leading the Private Investment Advice, Wealth Advisory Services, Private Banking, Private Trust, as well as the Private Investment Counsel businesses. In his last two former roles, Dave was the President and National Sales Manager for Private Investment Advice, the rapidly growing full-service brokerage business within TD Wealth, and the Senior Vice President for Private Client Group, which services over 25,000 high net worth client relationships.
Dave graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honors B. Comm. in Management Economics in Industry and Finance, received his Canadian Investment Manager designation in 1998, Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute designation in 1999 and completed his Master in Business Administration at the University of Toronto in 2006.

Jan Sysmans brings 20 years of marketing and product management experience, including a particular focus in the software-as-a-service segment, to his role as Senior Director of Marketing, Growth Markets at Saba. Jan is responsible for all marketing and demand generation activities for Saba in the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions.
Jan came to Saba from Moxtra where he served as Vice President of Marketing, responsible for user acquisition, Public Relations, social media and branding. Prior to Moxtra, he was Senior Director of Product Marketing at SugarCRM, responsible for all global product marketing programs. Before SugarCRM, he spent 6 years at Cisco WebEx, where he was the TME for Cisco WebEx and Director of Marketing at WebEx Communications (prior to the Cisco acquisition). Earlier in his career, he held product management positions at PlaceWare, Ensim, Narus, XO Communications and Concentric Network Communications. He also served as the chairperson of the Marketing Communications committee on the SaaS Executive Council of the Software Information and Industry Association (SIIA) from 2006-2007.

Karen Basile is the Sr. Director of Talent, leading Tyco University. In that role, she is developing Tyco University, including establishing Tyco’s global learning philosophy, training and development programs and curriculum; and promoting a learning culture. Her team is focused on enterprise learning and development across Tyco. Karen is located in Princeton, NJ.
Karen has an extensive background in learning and development, as well as talent management. Prior to joining Tyco, Karen was Director of Talent Management for VWR International where she established a robust talent management strategy, created global leadership competencies and improved key talent processes and programs. Prior to VWR, Karen was a Global Commercial Learning & Development Leader for General Electric where she was responsible for the global training strategy, design, development and deployment for sales and marketing across all GE businesses. She also led learning at GE Water, where she created innovative leadership, sales and product training. Karen was a Leadership Development Manager at Cigna, where she had responsibility for leadership development, training and performance programs. Earlier in her career, she held several progressive human resources roles in Internet Capital Group, Provant and Omnient Corporation, before joining Wawa Corporation as the HR Manager for Corporate and then transitioned to a Talent Development role as Manager of People Development.
Karen holds a B.S. in Marketing and International Business from Penn State and an M.S. in Organizational Dynamics from University of Pennsylvania. She resides in Wayne, PA with her husband, Greg Basile, and two children. She enjoys travel, watching sports, dining out, cooking, playing golf, running and spending time with her family.

Prior to joining Hurricanes 3 years ago, Nancy was Chief People Officer for AmRest Holdings, LLC, a global franchise restaurant company with a portfolio of such iconic brands as KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Starbucks based in Wroclaw, Poland. Nancy is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and a certified Professional in Human Resources.
