Bryan Benoit is a partner in Grant Thornton’s advisory practice in Houston. He has more than 20 years of business and consulting experience in the areas of corporate finance and accounting. In addition to serving as an advisor to clients, he is frequently asked to testify as an expert in court and has participated in over 100 economic damages studies and provided expert witness testimony at deposition, arbitration and trial. Mr. Benoit’s work has included studies of economic value, including industry and market dynamics, as well as analyses of capacity, incremental revenue, costs and profits. He has calculated damages in connection with intellectual property disputes, shareholder disputes, bankruptcy, breach of contract and employment related matters. He has experience advising domestic and international corporations on economics, finance and accounting matters and has provided numerous opinions and studies to board members, corporate directors and officers on the subject of business enterprise value, complex financial instruments, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, fairness, solvency, due diligence and intellectual property.
