Bernie Rice Bernie Rice is the Chief of Information Technology for Nemours. He joined Nemours in 1999 in the Jacksonville, Florida office and was promoted to the Chief, Information Technology position in 2008. He is responsible for leadership of Information Systems throughout the Nemours enterprise including Applications Development, Applications Support, Data Warehouse, Desktop Support, Information Security, Service Desk, Systems Infrastructure, and Telecommunications. Prior to coming to Nemours, he served in the United States Air Force and as an Information Systems Manager with Anheuser-Busch, Inc. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Florida and has achieved the Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) certification from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). He is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). |
